How Sproxil Champion Works

Sproxil provides globally-unique codes for each product unit made by the manufacturer. Each code is covered with a tamper-evident layer for additional security or embedded in a QR code.

At the point of sale, a consumer scratches the label or scans the QR code and follows the instructions provided to participate in the reward program. 

The consumer is instantly rewarded or provided information on how to redeem the reward. The consumer is also informed if the product purchased is genuine. This activity is logged on the brand owner’s system to help monitor progress and determine ROI in real time.

What if a consumer tries to claim multiple rewards of the packing of products while at the store?

Ultimately, there is nothing Sproxil can do to prevent people from taking a genuine product off the shelf, scratching & claiming the reward, and then putting it back on the shelf. Sproxil can, however, keep track of the top winners of the loyalty reward and report to the client if a specific phone number has reached a threshold they deem as abuse (such as 10 rewards in one month). From there, Sproxil can block that phone number from the system and even call them to actively ask questions to gain more insight into why the consumer is attempting to scam the system. Additionally, if the client requests, Sproxil can limit the number of rewards to one per day, month, etc. per each phone number.

If my products are only purchased once per year, how can I benefit from a loyalty program?

If consumers only buy the client’s products once per year, this could be an opportunity to encourage them to purchase another product sold by the client. For example, the client can use Sproxil Connect to send an SMS blast out to those consumers who have verified Product X (the product purchased once per year) to make them aware of Product Y and/or give them a discount/coupon for Product Y.
