Finance Manager (Bangalore, India)
Overview

The Finance Manager is responsible for finance and administration for the company’s Indian operations. In this role, you will manage cash flow and produce periodic financial reports. You will need to do hands on accounting work and also coordinate work of both an internal Mumbai-based and external accountants. You will track and follow up on accounts receivable and payable to optimize cash flow. Your work may require you to negotiate company contracts and oversee other legal matters in consultation with legal counsel.

The Finance Manager will also be expected to propose and oversee the implementation of administrative policies to grant cost savings and create revenue enhancing opportunities. In the role, you will help implement policies and assist the Country Director with information to ensure compliance with local regulations. You will also be required to maintain relationships with banks, accountants and governments in various operating jurisdictions and ensure the accurate and timely filing of all statutory reports and payment obligations. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all audits are completed on time.

Qualifications

You will have experience successfully supporting a team and will have these qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • At least 5 years’ work experience in similar functions
  • Advanced QuickBooks and Tally Accounting software proficiency
  • High motivation and intelligence with strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
  • Skills in negotiating pricing of different services
  • Detailed understanding of accounting and finance principles including VAT, transfer pricing and taxation
  • Ability to operate independently and flexibly in an environment which is both demanding and multicultural
  • Work proficiency with the MS Office suite, especially Excel
  • Native level fluency in spoken and written English
  • Ability to work in Bangalore without relocation or work visa assistance

Accounting Technician (Accra, Ghana)
Overview

The Accounting Technician is responsible for the financial recordkeeping and reporting for the company and several affiliates located in Africa and Asia. In this role, you will post transactions and journals in the books, issue invoices, track and follow up on accounts receivable and payable, perform reconciliations, analyse budgets and variances and produce both ad hoc and periodic financial reports. This hands-on accounting position will also interface with both internal and external accountants in other countries.

You may also be required to maintain relationships with banks and assist with the accurate and timely filing of all statutory reports and payment obligations.

Regional Sales Manager (New Dehli/Mumbai/Bangalore, India)
Overview

Sales Managers will be responsible for selling Sproxil's solutions directly to Indian manufacturers and brand owners. You will develop and maintain relationships with the target customers to drive the company's sales to them on a regional basis — South, West and North. You will have complete responsibility for your customer relationships and will be held accountable for total account sales, margins and overall relationship status.

Using your local industry knowledge and market analyses, you will determine customer needs, sales volume potential, that will meet the company's growth targets. Then you will implement a sales program of your own design in conjunction with the Sales Director and the Country Head for India leveraging existing relationships and new ones you will develop.

Qualifications

These positions are of strategic significance and are suited for professionals with an entrepreneurial drive and desire to experience handling a revenue target and P&L early in the career. You will need to display great initiative and independence, together with strong organizational, relationship building and interpersonal skills. This includes identifying, contacting, and meeting key decision makers and educating them on the strategic value added by adopting Sproxil's services. Your inputs will be used for shaping up sales strategies in other global regions as well as into Sproxil's overall sales strategy and execution both with customers and strategic partners and will contribute significantly to determining how the company's services are marketed.

These positions are full-time and require significant regional travel. This role also requires selling at senior positions (CXO level) within Sproxil's target industries and hence impeccable written and oral communication skills are a must. Sproxil is seeking a full-time, paid Data Analyst Intern. The intern will work with our Business Analyst to mine, analyze, and interpret data from our interesting and large dataset. Specific tasks will include investigating statically relevant and meaningful trends, modeling consumer behavior, and using findings to guide business decisions. The intern will prepare a report(s) regarding key findings.

This position is for someone who is motivated, self-starting, and an independent worker. We provide high levels of autonomy and exposure to international business.
