General Manager, Mumbai, India
Overview

General Manager is responsible for working with Sproxil India’s staff and directors to become the public persona of the company responsible for all corporate relationships (customers, vendors, regulators, directors and shareholders). You will also be accountable for the development and execution of the company's growth strategy.

Responsibilities

Business development and relationship management:

  • Deepen customer and market penetration with the aim of dominating marketing share and share of the mind
  • Utilize a business orientation and marketing demeanour in order to bring concepts, services and cooperative business models to the marketplace
  • Identify opportunities and propose new methods of improving existing operations with a focus on bottom-line results
  • Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with high-level stakeholders and acts as company spokesperson
  • Prepare the company to meet the challenges presented by new trends and developments in the market

Leadership and Financial management:

  • Accountable for the overall corporate strategy execution, budget and delivery of business and financial targets
  • In collaboration with Executive Management and in particular the Finance Manager, develop an annual budget prepared in the context of the company’s strategic plan
  • Ensure the efficient utilization of financial resources within established policies of the Company, making appropriate and timely financial and management decisions
  • Provide strong and effective executive leadership to the Sproxil staff
  • Prescribe staff authority, delegate responsibilities to the senior management team and develop an annual list of performance objectives
  • Establish a risk management framework and use it to identify and address emerging issues that impact the future direction of the Company

People management:

  • Oversee the company’s HR functions and compensation plan
  • Lead staff in their achievement of business objectives with integrity, fairness and transparency
  • Improve staff motivation and loyalty to minimize staff turnover
  • Establish effective forward and feedback communication systems between Management and staff to inculcate coherence and a team spirit

While you will be based in Mumbai, India you will work with Sproxil team members across 3 continents to meet customer needs

Qualifications

You will have these qualifications:

  • A proven track record in the delivery of sales and organisational growth with international exposure. The candidate must have handled a portfolio of clients exceeding 30 in number and generating over INR 25 Crore in topline revenue. At least 5 of the past portfolio clients must have been MNCs
  • Intimate knowledge of the Indian business terrain with management experience in both the regulated and deregulated sectors of the economy
  • Great project, customer and human management skills demonstrable through historical achievements in each of those critical areas of our business
  • A degree in a relevant field with at least 10 years post qualification experience especially in corporate management, at least 5 years of which must have been in senior executive management. Candidates with prior experience from the IT Services industry will be strongly preferred

Service Delivery Assistant, Mumbai, India
Overview

The Service Delivery Assistant (SDA) will be responsible for working with Sproxil’s customers to help coordinate initial service orders and ongoing service delivery. You will develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction. In addition you will help to enhance Sproxil’s processes by identifying and evaluating quality processes.

You will need to display great initiative and independence, together with strong organizational, relationship building, and interpersonal skills. This includes proactively resolving issues before they arise and promptly addressing customer needs. You will also have input into Sproxil’s overall service delivery and will contribute significantly to determining how the company’s services are implemented.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to manage the relationships with various Sproxil suppliers and integration partners. This includes:

  • Processing client orders
  • Ensuring timely delivery of goods by Sproxil’s suppliers
  • Managing documentation related to client orders and deliveries

While you will be based in Mumbai, India you will work with Sproxil team members across 3 continents to meet customer needs

Qualifications

A highly reliable individual with enthusiasm, service orientation, and attention to details is required, combined with excellent organization and communication skills. You will have these qualifications:

  • A university graduate with a degree in any discipline
  • 2-4 years of work experience in logistics/operations or vendor management
  • Candidates with work experience in print and packaging industries preferred
  • High motivation and intelligence with strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently and flexibly in a small company environment which is both demanding and multicultural
  • Comfort working in a team environment
  • Work proficiency with the MS Office suite
  • Native level fluency in spoken and written English
  • Ability to work in India without relocation or work visa assistance

Social Media Intern, Cambridge, MA (U.S.)
Overview

The Social Media Intern will be responsible for monitoring and boosting engagement on Sproxil’s social media channels, designing and managing social media campaigns, and creating original and compelling share-worthy content.

  • Your primary responsibility will be to increase Sproxil’s online visibility through social media. This includes responding appropriately to messages received through social media, finding and engaging users, and increasing followership
  • You will design and successfully execute social media campaigns and present quantitative results of the campaigns
  • Using text, photography, video, and infographics you will create compelling online content
  • You will contribute to Sproxil’s blog with relevant content
  • You will create pieces for email newsletters
Qualifications
